Volunteer
Volunteers play a key role in the success of programs and the experience of visitors at the Edmondston-Alston House. Volunteering for the Middleton Place Foundation builds social and professional contacts, and you will become a part of an organization that represents Middleton Place and the Edmondston-Alston House to thousands of visitors annually. Currently over 300 volunteers are assisting in almost every facet of the Foundation’s programs.
Volunteers receive a complimentary multiple membership to the Middleton Place Foundation, be invited to to attend educational field trips and lectures, and receive discounts in the Middleton Place Museum Shop and Middleton Place Restaurant.
Give the gift of time and share your interest in history by becoming a volunteer at the Edmondston-Alston House on the Battery in downtown Charleston. The next volunteer orientation session will be held on January 30, 2012 from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. For more information, call Marguerite Getz at (843) 722-7171 or email her at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots.
